Introduction

Annapurna Cable Car is a gondola-based lift transportation system located in Pokhara Municipality Ward no 18, Sedibagar, Pokhara, Nepal. It was established in 2073 BS to run a cable car from Sedibagar to Sarangkot. the 2.2 km line having two stations. The cable car system consists of 17 gondolas that can convey 500 people per hour.
Annapurna Cable Car Ltd. is registered entity at the Office of the Company Registrar, Ministry of Industry, Nepal under registration no 71183/066/67. Registration date: March 10, 2010. Permanent Registration Number: 304 468 346 (obtained from Inland Revenue Department, Ministry of Finance on 12 October 2010).

The registered office of company is at Baghdurbar, Sundhara, Kathmandu, Nepal. The site office is at Sebdibagar, Pokhara.

Objectives and Services

1. To provide safe and comfortable cable car services to domestic and international tourists.
2. It will also provide or coordinate for cycling, zip fly, bungy, swing, rock climbing, canyoning and other adventure sports.
3. Annapurna Cable Car will operate or lease its spaces at the bottom station and top station for coffee shops, restaurant and bar, amusement centers, virtual gaming centers and other entertainment spaces.
4. It also aims to establish similar services to other parts of the country.

The cable car service is operated within strict safety measures implemented by Nippon Cable Co. Ltd. Japan. There will be regular inspection of technical and sanitation part of the cable car. It employs 80-90 skilled and semi-skilled human resources to provide complete satisfaction to the passengers, and also for the guaranteed safe operations. Mission To add a touristic destination for all the tourists visiting Pokhara and the vicinity.
